A Palestinian Medic was injured on Sunday evening, while eight Palestinian civilians were arrested on Monday morning during separate Israeli attacks targeting West Bank communities.
The Palestinian Civil Defense announced on Monday that ambulance teams and medic came under attack on Sunday evening by Israeli troops as they were evacuating civilians near Qalandiya checkpoint at the entrance of Ramallah city in central West Bank.
According to the Civil Defense, Israeli troops fired tear gas at residents’ homes trapping families inside, soldiers then fired rubber-coated steel bullets at medics who arrived to evacuate residents. A fire engine also sustained damage by the Israeli military attack, the Palestinian Civil Defense reported.
In a separate attack, Israeli troops invaded on Monday morning the northern West Bank village of Kufer Qaliel near Nablus city and arrested eight civilians.
Local sources announced that an Israeli force invaded the village and searched homes then arrested eight civilians. Another Israeli force also invaded the nearby city of Nablus and conduct searches.
Last week according to the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, PCHR, the Israeli military conducted at least 74 military invasions into Palestinian communities in the West Bank, during which they arrested 21 Palestinian civilians, including one child.
