On Friday 24th February, dozens of Palestinians were injured after Israeli forces broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque's yards.
One of Al-Aqsa guards said "Palestinian Women threw shoes at the soldiers, and they responded back by throwing dozens of sound and gas bombs towards the Palestinians who were inside the Mosque's yards."
Media has published that a number of Journalists who were at the Mosque were wounded and a Turkish tourist was suffocated from the tear gas that Israelis threw towards Palestinians.
Eyewitnesses said that confrontations reached out to the Old City, Silwan, Issawiyah and the Damascus gate in Jerusalem, a number of Palestinian protesters were wounded, a number of Children and women were arrested and taken to unknown locations.
Al-Aqsa Mosque has lately witnessed a series of tension, due to the continuous calls and attempts by settlers and extremists to break into al-Aqsa mosque to do their religious rituals in a way that provokes Muslims.
