Zionist Media Domination: The Jewish Suicide Bomber That You Never Heard Of

by Martin Iqbal.

Updated February 24, 2012. Click here to go to the update.

In 1983 American police foiled a significant terror attack that most Americans to this day are utterly oblivious to. On October 18, 1983, a suicide bomber strapped with explosives was caught in the spectators’ gallery of the US House of Representatives, attempting to blow up the US Capitol.(1) The reason most Americans know nothing of this plot, is that the terrorist was a Jewish Israeli named ‘Israel Rabinowits’. The astounding ignorance of Americans is owing to the supreme control that Zionist Jews wield over the American press. Michael Collins Piper reports(1) that this event was mentioned
just once in The Washington Post – the so-called newspaper of record in the American capital – and only once, in passing, in The New York Times.
A search of the New York Times online archive mirrors Piper’s findings, and it reveals the staggeringly trivial and obfuscatory nature of the NYT’s reportage.

The November 2, 1983 article(2) titled “BOMB CARRIER IN U.S. HOME PROMPTS TIGHTENED SECURITY” is significant for a number of reasons.

First and foremost it must be acknowledged that the article appeared not on the first page (as would be expected for a suicide bomb attempt on the US Capitol), but on the paper’s Late City Final Edition, Section A, Page 22, Column 1. After searching the archive from 1981 to the present day, I can say confidently that there is no other mention of this event, even on the day of or following the attempted attack.

This is consistent with Michael Collins Piper’s findings with respect to the Washington Post:(1)
And for the record, even though it was certainly qualified as “big” news, even The Washington Post buried the story in its local news section – across from the obituaries.
The title of the NYT article is purposefully misleading and deceptive. The terrorist is described as a ‘bomb carrier‘, (no mention of ethnicity or religion) and the U.S. House is referred to as ‘home‘ in what on the face of it seems to be a mistake, but what is likely intentional. This euphemistic description of the event (buried on page 22) is clearly meant to make the article less of a ‘grabber’ so that readers pass over the information. One can only imagine what the (front page) headline would have been if the Jewish terrorist had been Muslim: Islamist Suicide Bomb Attempt Prompts Tightened Security at U.S. House.

Reading further into the article we see that the terrorist’s name is eventually revealed in the fifth paragraph, and the fact that he is Jewish is completely omitted from the entire text. Conversely, reportage on terror attacks perpetrated (allegedly or otherwise) by Muslims consistently pivots on and emphasises the perpetrator’s ethnicity and religion (information which is always conveyed in the headline).

Despite publishing not a word on the terrorist’s potential motives, the NYT also actually tries to humanise the terrorist in indirectly suggesting that Rabinowits had moralistic ambitions. The article reveals that Rabinowits’s lawyer told a court that his client “wanted to address Congress about world hunger“.

The very fact that most Americans know nothing of this event is a telling indictment of the Zionist-controlled nature of the ‘free’ media in the United States. This important event has been barely covered, and where it has been covered, it has been documented in a deceptive, misleading, and trivial manner. What is even more sickening and telling is how this Zionist media outlet in particular actually attempted to humanise the terrorist – no doubt purely because he was a member of the tribe.

Update: 24 February 2012

Hat tip to Irradiee for suggesting newspaperarchive.com, a search of which has uncovered the fact that Israel Rabinowits was not locked up by the American authorities for his attempted terror attack. Instead – just like his modern day Mossad cohorts who took part in the 9/11 attacks – he was sent back to Israel.
A January 9, 1986 issue of the Titusville Herald(3) reveals that approximately two years after the attempted terrorist attack, Israel Rabinowits was sent back to Israel where he is “apparently” in prison:
Meanwhile, a House official said Wednesday that a man carrying a homemade bomb who was arrested in the House gallery after threatening to blow up the Capitol more than two years ago was deported to Israel, where he is apparently in prison.

Jack Russ, the House sergeant at arms, said Israel Rubinowits was ordered never to return to the United States after the October 18, 1983 episode.
What is interesting about this passage, buried on page 9 of the paper, is that it appears within an article that is placed on the front page of the newspaper. The title of this article is “US Says Khadafy Trains Terrorists“. Laughably, the newspaper attempts to contextualise this Jewish Israeli’s attempted terror attack within alleged terrorism committed by Muammar Gaddafi – revolutionary and longtime enemy of the terrorist states of Israel and the United States of America.

Time to abandon the illusion of negotiations with Netanyahu

Netanyahu seeks to deceive the public by claiming
a desire for peace, while continuing his Judaisation
policies in Jerusalem.
Mustafa El-Barghouthi, the Secretary General of the Palestinian National Initiative movement and an elected legislator, has reiterated that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Palestinian people. "All of the Israeli occupation authority's actions in the city are illegal, void, and do not lend any legitimacy to the ongoing attempts at its Judaisation," he said in a written statement to the media.

Claims by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Jerusalem is the "united and eternal capital of Jews everywhere" are, said El-Barghouthi, "further evidence of his expansionist mentality and a rejection of a just peace". Jerusalem, he added, is an integral part of the Palestinian land occupied by Israel in and since 1967.

According to the Palestinian MP, "It's time to abandon the illusion of negotiations with a government that is led by Netanyahu, as this government is using them as a cover for its ongoing settlement plans." The solution, believes El-Barghouthi, lies in the escalation of popular resistance with the involvement of all segments of Palestinian society along with boycotts and sanctions against Israel, "as happened with the apartheid regime in South Africa".

He explained that Netanyahu seeks to deceive the public by claiming a desire for peace, while continuing his Judaisation policies in Jerusalem, stealing the land, establishing settlements in the West Bank and imposing so-called facts on the ground. "That no longer fools anyone," he said.

Calling upon the countries of the world to assume their responsibilities, stop the application of double standards and impose a boycott and sanctions against Israel, he said that "Arab countries should be the first in line to do exactly that".

EU Heads of Mission call for lifting blockade on Gaza

Children in the illegally blockaded Gaza Stripe

The European Union Heads of Mission in Israel-occupied East al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the city of Ramallah in Tel Aviv-occupied West Bank call on the Israeli regime to end its blockade of Gaza Strip.

In their first joint visit to Gaza in 2012, the Heads of Mission recently met in the territory with delegates of international organizations, civil society, women, and the private sector.

Following the visit, they reportedly issued a statement, calling for “further efforts and complementary measures to achieve a fundamental change of Israeli policy that allows for the reconstruction and economic recovery of Gaza, including through the resumption of exports.”

“The EU reiterates again its calls for an immediate, sustained, and unconditional opening of crossings for the flow of humanitarian aid, commercial goods, and persons to and from Gaza”, the statement added.

Israel imposed the land, aerial, and naval blockade on Gaza Strip in June 2007 after the democratically-elected Palestinian resistance movement of Hamas took over the administration of the territory.

The blockade has had a disastrous impact on the humanitarian and economic situation in the impoverished enclave, having turned the territory into the world’s largest open-air prison.

British Lord forced to resign after "Israel will not last" claim

Jenny Tonge
Published Wednesday, February 29, 2012

A British Lord has been forced to resign from her party after saying that Israel would not last forever if it continued to oppress the Palestinians.

Jenny Tonge, a former MP for the Liberal Democrats, which is the junior partner in the British government, made the comments in a speech at a British university.

"Beware Israel," she said. "Israel is not going to be there for ever in its present form. One day, the United States of America will get sick of giving £70bn a year to Israel to support what I call America's aircraft carrier in the Middle East – that is Israel. One day, the American people are going to say to the Israel lobby in the USA: enough is enough."

She added: "Israel will lose support and then they will reap what they have sown."

Tonge's comments were seized upon by the powerful right-wing British blog Guido Fawkes, which launched a campaign calling for her to be fired from the party.

Tonge was heavily criticized by all British political parties, with the leader of the Labour Party Ed Miliband saying there was "No place in politics for those who question existence of the state of Israel."

Liberal Democrat party leader Nick Clegg demanded she apologize but Tonge, a long-time supporter of Palestinian freedom, refused to do so and resigned instead.
As a result, Tonge will remain a peer but will not sit with the Liberal Democrats in the House of Lords.

Tonge was previously fired from her shadow Cabinet role in 2004 after claiming she could identify with Palestinian suicide bombers.

"If I had to live in that situation – and I say that advisedly – I might just consider becoming one myself," she said.

"Having seen the violence and the humiliation and the provocation that the Palestinian people live under everyday and have done since their land was occupied by Israel, I could understand..."

Yawn… endless throw ups of the news in the feeds as another few hundred articles can be found here

Times of ransacking equipment, detaining journalists, shooting, attacking, detaining without charges and raiding tv stations to silence the voices of truth no longer work.

It’s obvious Israel: Don’t mess with the press!

Palestine, Ramallah and Israel’s apartheid practices have been greatly in focus worldwide today (again) due to it’s own self proclaimed grandiosity, misplaced self-esteem and it’s unreal feeling of being untouchable.

This pathetic attempt to silence some television stations ended again in another:

Fayyad Condemns Israeli Raid on TV Stations

RAMALLAH, February 29, 2012 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Salam Fayyad Wednesday condemned Israeli army pre-dawn raid on two local television stations in Ramallah, describing it as an act of “piracy.”
“The Israeli piracy and raids targeting Palestinian media institutions bring back to mind the Israeli actions in the beginning of the second Intifada when Israeli forces raided and sabotaged many institutions, including Palestine TV, Voice of Palestine radio and Watan TV,” Fayyad told reporters.
An army force accompanied by Israeli Ministry of Telecommunication staff raided Watan TV and Al-Quds Educational Television in Ramallah and seized their transmitting and broadcasting equipment and computers.
Fayyad stressed that the Palestinian response should entail immediate rebroadcast and continuation of work in both institutions, adding that the Israeli raids of PA territory, including continuous killing and arrests of Palestinians, aim to undermine the PA and are completely rejected.
The prime minister held the International Quartet responsible for the Israeli violations that blatantly breach the international law and the Israeli obligations in accordance to signed agreements.
“All that shows the Quartet’s stark failure and incompetence  to uphold its responsibility,” added Fayyad.

'Betty Nuttayahoo' and AIPAC, STFU!

Meet the Most Foul Traitors to All Humanity

Around here, the last couple of weeks, the price of gasoline has jumped about 40 cents a gallon, usually after Israeli CRIME MINISTER 'Betty Nuttyahoo' makes another war mongering threat towards Iran.

I have no doubt that before these threats are bellowed out, Israel's friends on Wall Street get advance notice and place bets on the oil futures commodities markets, making ungodly sums of filthy lucre.

In a couple of weeks, the annual parade of ass-kissing Senators and Representatives will make their pilgrimage to the AIPAC 'Love Fest' and try to outdo one another in speech's given to the convention saying they just LUV Israel, that they'd do ANYTHING to protect that nation run by blood-thirsty lunatics--they won't say that, I did--and repeat that tired-ass line about "all options being on the table."

Plus, the Republican presidential candidates, Romney, Santorum, Gingrich, now confirmed to speak to Policy conference, March 6 will be reading from a teleprompter with the lies and lines written by some Zionist war monger.

The groundwork is being laid to pressure the invasion of Iran. Pressure? I must be drunk--I'm not--to think that Israel has to pressure their bought and paid for Capitol Hill Whores, which have sworn to "protect and defend the Constitution from ALL enemies, both foreign and domestic."

But how does one defend against that Zionist entity that is both?

And the 'first Jewish president,' Barry Sotero, will also be braying at the AIPAC conference like the jack-ass he is, old 'Mr. Hope and Change' will be kowtowing to his Zionist Masters.

I tried to capture the pic that is at this AIPAC link, showing the traitorous Americans that will be groveling towards Zionist Israel, but I could not capture the whole page, just bits and pieces.

Guess they didn't want inquiring assholes like me posting that pic on a blog dedicated to finding 9/11 Truth; being Pro-Palestinian and anti-Occupation and against these 'Wars for Wall Street and Israel.'

Confirmed Speakers:

President of the United States Barack Obama
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
Israeli President Shimon Peres
Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta
Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY)
House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)
Senator Carl Levin (D-MI)
Senator Joseph Lieberman (I-CT)
Senator Johnny Isakson (R-GA)

Like it's been said before, WE'RE ALL GAZANS NOW!
NEVER AGAIN!

NO MORE BLOOD OR MONEY FOR ISRAEL!!

NEVER AGAIN!!!

Which Matters Most, AIPAC’s Power, or Rachel Corrie’s Death?

It is times like this, for these two church bodies, when the rubber really hits the road. To be specific,  decision time for AIPAC or for Rachel Corrie, will come for United Methodist General Conference delegates, between April 24 and May 4, in Tampa, Florida, and for the Presbyterian Church, USA, General Assembly delegates, in Pittsburg, PA, from June 30 to July 7.

In the name of all that John Wesley and John Calvin held to be holy and sacred, why is the choice between AIPAC and Rachel Corrie so difficult to make?

by James M. Wall

Two events arrive next month on the American political calendar: The annual AIPAC Policy Conference, and the anniversary of Rachel Corrie’s death.

These two events are related the way yin relates to yang, a concept from Asian philosophy which “is used to describe how polar opposites or seemingly contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other in turn”. (Wikipedia)

"March 16, 03. Rachel nonviolently blocks Israeli
bulldozers from destroying Palestinian homes along
the Rafah/Egyptian border along with nine other
International Solidarity Movement volunteers. Photo
from earlier in the day"
I have referenced this connection before, and it continues to resonate, for me, in the complex interconnection of contrasting approaches to political action.

Rachel Corrie was killed March 16, 2003,  by an Israeli soldier who drove an American-built Caterpillar bulldozer over her. When she died, Rachel, a 23-year old American from Olympia, Washington, was wearing a clearly visible orange vest. She was shouting at the driver through a bull horn, asking him  to stop.

She was crushed to death by the bulldozer.
The Israeli government, which rarely acknowledges the deaths of Palestinian civilians killed during its military operations, went into damage-control mode.

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon promised President Bush a “thorough, credible, and transparent investigation.” Later Israel declared the killing a “regrettable accident” and blamed it on overzealous Corrie and the other activists working as human shields.

Subsequent calls for Congress to investigate Rachel Corrie’s death were ignored. A civil lawsuit brought by her family against the Israeli military, has been in Israeli courts since March 15, 2005. A final verdict on the suit is expected this spring.

Before this year’s ninth anniversary of Rachel Corrie’s death, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, better known as AIPAC, will hold its annual Policy Conference, March 4-6, 2012, in Washington, DC. These two events recur every year.

The annual gathering of AIPAC receives considerable media attention, while the anniversary of the death of  a young American working for peace through a non-violent protest, registers hardly a blip.

President Obama at 2011 AIPAC Policy Conference

Rachel Corrie – Interview

The difference is easily explained. AIPAC is the power center lobby engine that drives American foreign policy. It reaches, rewards, and where needed, threatens, members of the US power elite.

This year AIPAC has Iran on its mind, prompted, of course, by Israel’s obsession over Iran. Enabling that obsession, Senate leaders sprang into action. Atlantic blogger Robert Wright writes:
Late last week, amid little fanfare, Senators Joseph Lieberman, Lindsey Graham, and Robert Casey introduced a resolution that would move America further down the path toward war with Iran. The good news is that the resolution hasn’t been universally embraced in the Senate.
As Ron Kampeas of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency reports, the resolution has “provoked jitters among Democrats anxious over the specter of war.”

The bad news is that, as Kampeas also reports, “AIPAC is expected to make the resolution an ‘ask’ in three weeks when up to 10,000 activists culminate its annual conference with a day of Capitol Hill lobbying.”
Israeli leaders Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Israeli President Shimon Peres will attend this year’s AIPAC gathering. They are also expected to speak.
The partial list of the American power elite invited by AIPAC to speak during its March 4-6 conference, includes President Barack Obama.

From the US Congress, invited speakers include Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Senator Carl Levin (D-MI), Senator Joseph Lieberman (I-CT), and Senator Johnny Isakson (R-GA).

Senator Levin, a Democrat, is Chairman of the Senate Committee on Armed Services; Senator Joseph Lieberman, an Independent who votes with the Democrats,  is Chairman of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs;

Senator Johnny Isakson, is a Republican from Georgia.

Among media notables invited to speak are CNN contributor and former advisor to President Bill Clinton, Paul Begala, Democratic Party strategist Donna Brazile, Fox News contributor Liz Cheney, and Jane Harman, former member of Congress, from California, now President of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.

Cheney is the daughter of former Vice-President Dick Cheney.

Harman, since the death of her husband, is an owner of Newsweek magazine. She is a longtime AIPAC loyalist.

From a political power standpoint, that is a lot of fire power. Which brings us to the question, which matters most, AIPAC’s political power or Rachel Corrie’s witness for peace?

Two Protestant denominations will soon face that question in a most pragmatic and public fashion. The United Methodist Church and the Presbyterian Church, USA, will hold national decision-making meetings, starting in April and June.

At those meetings, delegates representing United Methodists and Presbyterians will be asked to instruct their leadership to divest or not divest their denominational funds from corporations that are currently supporting Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian population.

The 2012 United Methodist conference was originally scheduled for Richmond, Virginia, until it was discovered that Richmond violated a United Methodist church policy “regarding meeting in cities that are home to professional sports teams with Native American names”.

According to the United Methodist press office:
At the time of the initial selection, commission members were unaware that Richmond is home to the Richmond Braves, a minor league baseball team affiliated with the Atlanta Braves.
These United Methodists have their standards, which they adhere to closely, John Wesley would expect no less.  This could portend something about how they will vote between April 25 and May 4, depending, perhaps, on whether they go with their yin or their yang.

The Presbyterian Church USA, General Assembly in Pittsburg, PA, will consider resolutions on divestment from corporations involved in Israel’s occupation.

Like the United Methodists, the Presbyterians will target three specific corporations, Caterpillar, Motorola Solutions and Hewlett-Packard.

The Presbyterians will be asked to vote for or against a resolution instructing the denomination to stop investing in the three companies ”until they have ceased profiting from non-peaceful activities in Israel-Palestine.”

In their two national assemblies, United Methodists and Presbyterians will choose between the way of AIPAC , and the way of Rachel Corrie.

When the Presbyterians meet in their General Assembly, they will have as a biblical theme for their deliberations, Isaiah 40:31 (NIV):
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
In the name of all that John Wesley and John Calvin held to be holy and sacred, why is the choice between AIPAC and Rachel Corrie so difficult to make?
The picture above, of Rachel Corrie, is taken from a poster produced and distributed by If Americans Knew, a program and web site, developed and directed by Allison Weir. Copies of the posters and other material related to Rachel Corrie, may be ordered from this site.

"Israel" set to destroy European-funded solar energy project

Rateb Jabour added that if the demolition threat goes
ahead it will return 2,300 Palestinians to a life without
a modern power source.
The Israeli occupation authorities have issued notices of their intention to demolish a solar energy project which provides the only source of electricity for a number of Palestinian villages south of Hebron. The head of the People's Committee in Yatta confirmed that the Israelis told the residents of the plan to destroy the project, which was funded by European organisations. Rateb Jabour added that if the demolition threat goes ahead it will return 2,300 Palestinians to a life without a modern power source.

According to Mr. Jabour, the intention behind the destruction of the project is to encourage Palestinian residents to move out; in other words, he said, "displacement by stealth". It has long been known that the Israelis try to make life so miserable for Palestinians that they will move away of their own accord and not have to be displaced forcibly; in Zionist terminology this is known as "silent transfer".

The council leader in the village of Mnazel, Rashid Awad, explained that the village’s 500 inhabitants live on agriculture and sheep farming. The solar-produced electricity makes a huge difference to them in the purification and storage of milk.

In the same context, Mohamed Gabr, the director of Susia School, said that if his village and school are unable to have access to electricity as a result of the Israeli demolition of their solar panels and wind turbines, the local Palestinians will "be returned to the stone age".

AIPAC: Obama and Gingrich Get Ready to Grovel

(Graphics by Skulz)

1. It’s coming goys and girls, it’s coming. In just a few days an orgy of truly unbelievable proportions will take place in what used to be the capital of these United States. This year probably for the first time in the history of this disgusting display of servility to a foreign power, an opposition presidential candidate will be speaking during an election year in which an incumbent is running. AIPAC actually changed their policy to allow this happen. So, not only will orgy participants get to see the Israeli Vice President for American Affairs (IVPFAA) treat these monsters as if they were gay Johns who hired him to climb into the back of a limo, they will also get to see the thoroughly corrupt Newt Gingrich show that he can take it even deeper.

(Shas Party members get two guesses on who did the above graphic)
Here are two very pertinent quotes to keep in mind regarding AIPAC’s Annual Policy Conference which begins this coming Sunday, March 4th right at the time many of you Christians are at church listening to sermons about how Christianity is all about worshiping Israel.

The first quote is from Grant Smith, the founder of the Institute for Research Middle Eastern Policy, which has recently filed a court brief that alleges that  ”AIPAC has never abandoned its original role as an arm of the Israeli government in the United States” and this has AIPAC all in a tizzy.

Grant Smith, in an article entitled “The Mossad Has Long Given Marching Orders to AIPAC” concludes:

Though they tried, U.S. counter-intelligence and law enforcement officials failed to counteract or properly regulate AIPAC’s stealth foreign agency during the Cold War. Today the lobby’s pursuit of Israeli interests threatens to plunge the entire Middle East into war and burn the delicate tendrils of global economic recovery. Evidence of the Israeli government directing AIPAC today is self-evident as Shimon Peres and Benjamin Netanyahu crank AIPAC’s handles to winch themselves uninvited into U.S. election-year politics. It only remains to be seen whether sufficient numbers of concerned Americans will angrily rise from the sidelines to confront AIPAC before its foreign principals maneuver America into a disastrous war for Israel.

The second quote is from another very important article by Philip Giraldi, a former CIA officer, who, as far as I can tell, has been trying diligently to actually serve the American public since he retired from that horrible outfit some years ago. I’ve read this guy for years and listened to him and he’s very measured in his statements and bases his stated views on facts, not wild speculation – which makes him stand out quite a bit from ALL of the speakers at a typical AIPAC COT.

His article entitled  ”AIPAC Declares War“ is about the efforts of Senator Joe Lieberman (Mossad, CT) to ensure that the US gets involved in a war with Iran. BTW, Lieberman is also speaking at the COT that starts this Sunday. Please read the quote and read the entire article.

Many Americans are beginning to wake up to the fact that it is disgraceful that a small country like Israel should be able to dictate U.S. foreign policy in a key part of the world, but the current situation is actually far worse than that. This is the case of a foreign government’s lobby consisting largely of American citizens using its clout to avoid registering as a foreign agent while narrowing the policy options through its friends in Congress and the media in such a way as to make war inevitable. Some might call it treason.

I do.

2. Call your congressional representatives and ask them if they are attending this conference. AIPAC loves to brag about all the congressmen and senators who attend the conference. So call yours, find out if they are attending, if the person on the phone says yes, tell them that in that case you will never vote for the congressman or senator again. Ever.

It’s really easy to call them. (Shas Party members might have difficulty with the directions below, but the rest of you should find this really, really easy. Much easier than dying in stupid, useless and endless wars.)

Here’s a simple flow chart for contacting your congressman and senators by phone.

Do you know what State you live in? If the answer is yes, then:

(If the answer is no, then I suggest listening to Coast to Coast.)

1. For your congressman’s info, go here. You will see a map. Click on your state. Each congressman for each district in your state is listed along with his phone number. Call the number. Ask to speak to the congressman. You will be told you can’t cause the person is not there, in a meeting, under arrest or whatever. Tell them to please deliver a message to the congressman. The person will say they will. Say that you are a constituent of that congressman and ask if the congressman is going to the AIPAC Policy conference that weekend. No matter what the answer is politely but firmly explain that if the congressman does attend that you will never vote for that person again and will go out of your way to vote for whomever runs against him or her.

2. For your senators, go here.  The Senators names are listed by alphabetical order.  If you don’t know who your senators are, you can sort the list to have them shown by state. The option to do that is right under the headlines that says “Senators of the 112th Congress.”  Call them and follow the directions above.

3. “The Right of Return is Not for Sale”

Israeli court delays verdict on hunger striker

RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- The Israeli military court in Ofer has decided on Wednesday to postpone verdict on the administrative custody of Palestinian young woman Hana’a Shalabi that was challenged by its lawyer.

The lawyer Jawad Bulous said that the court adjourned without specifying another date for its next hearing in the case of Hana’a who has been on hunger strike for 14 days.

He said that the judge adjourned to get acquainted with the secret report against Hana’a tabled by the Israeli intelligence.

The lawyer said that the administrative detention was passed against Hana’a at the pretext she was posing a threat to Israel’s security and to safety of the people. He added that the charge also includes planning attacks on Israel after her release in the prisoners’ exchange deal between Hamas and Israel.

He said that the defense team refuted all charges and demanded her immediate release, and drew the attention to the fact that the defendant was on hunger strike since her arrest two weeks ago.

Bulous said that Hana’a arrived to court from Hasharon jail exhausted from her hunger strike, but stressed that she would continue in her strike.

MP Samira Al-Halaika expressed discontent with the degree of solidarity with Hana’a, saying that the solidarity with Hana’a did not rise up to the situation of a young woman on hunger strike for two weeks.

She said that there should be a strategy for dealing with the Israeli administrative detention, which holds Palestinians in custody without charge.

The lawmaker said that the Palestinian people should escalate their objection to the detention against Hana’a and before her Khader Adnan, who waged a 66-day hunger strike before the Israeli court agreed to release him in April, into a wave of protests against the policy itself of administrative detention.

Silwan committee warns of collapse of school due to Israeli digging

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- The committee for the defense of Silwan has warned of the collapse of an old school in the town, south of the Aqsa mosque in occupied Jerusalem.

Head of the committee Fakhri Diyab blamed the Israeli occupation authority’s incessant excavations to the fact that the school might cave in at any time.

He said in a statement on Wednesday that the school is in real danger as a result of the IOA digging underneath it and in its vicinity.

Diyab said that the school, which was built in 1917, was controlled by the IOA after the occupation of Jerusalem in 1967 that gave part of it to a settlement society that turned into a warehouse for its digging equipment.

He feared that the IOA would close the school, which is for children, at the pretext of cracks in its walls and deliver it to the society.

The committee head noted that the IOA’s Judaization projects, such as parks, had reached near to the school’s walls.

Right-wing Plan to Annex the West Bank along with Its Citizens

PNN

Israeli Right-wing Knesset Member Uri Ariel put forward a plan for Israel to annex the West Bank along with its citizens. The Knesset Member calls it a political solution, in which Palestinians living in the West Bank will be given the chance for citizenship, and the chance to express their loyalty to the State of Israel.

Ariel, a right-wing politician believes that the two state solution should be one in which one state will be west of the Jordan river and another east of the river (refering to the Kingdom of Jordan). Ariel explained that since Jordan already consists of 70% Palestinians, than they should claim it as the State of Palestine, while the West Bank should become part of Israel. He added that the plan to split the land west of the Jordan river into two states is entirely the idea of the Israeli leftist parties.

According to Ariel’s plan, all the citizens of the West Bank will be given the same rights that Arab Jerusalemites have, which include social security, and medical insurance. He further explained that the Arabs in the West Bank will be given a residency similar to that of an American green card. This will be done in a way where Palestinians who attain the “green card”  will be given a chance to apply for citizenship after 5 years, in which they will be tested on their Hebrew Language, and their loyalty for the State of Israel, this constituts of pledging their allegiance to the "Jewish State of Israel".

Ariel also said that although this sounds like a dangerous plan, if executed correctly, it will help save Israel’s Jewish identity. Moreover he explained that this plan will help stop Israel’s isolation from the International community.

Netanyahu criticises Abbas and claims Jerusalem is the "eternal capital of the Jews"

According to the Israeli Prime Minister, his government
will maintain the holy places in Jerusalem to ensure freedom
of worship for all religions.
Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has attacked President Mahmoud Abbas for his speech at the opening of the International Conference for Defending Jerusalem in Qatar. Abbas condemned Israel's violations in the occupied city of Jerusalem, including illegal settlements and the country's Judaisation policy.

Netanyahu's office issued a statement immediately, calling the speech "harshly inflammatory ... from someone who claims that he is bent on peace." The statement continued:

"Jerusalem has been the eternal capital of the Jewish People," and added that, "Abu Mazen [Abbas] knows full well that there is no foundation to his contemptible remarks, including his baseless and irresponsible claims regarding the Al Aqsa Mosque. The State of Israel expects that one who supposedly champions peace would prepare his people for peace and coexistence and not disseminate lies and incitement. This is not how one makes peace."

According to the Israeli Prime Minister, his government will maintain the holy places in Jerusalem to ensure freedom of worship for all religions.

The head of the Palestinian Authority told the conference that the Israeli occupation authorities are accelerating their efforts and using the ugliest and most dangerous means to implement plans to erase the Arab Muslim and Christian character of Jerusalem.
