On Tuesday 24th April, The Israeli War Minister, Ehud Barak, decided to impose comprehensive closure of the West Bank, in the anniversary of the Israeli Independence Day.
Israeli media said that the Red Star of David has raised the alert to level B all over Israel, in case any Palestinian attempt to make operations in Israel.
Israeli forces decided to close Karam Abu Salem crossing starting from Wednesday 25th April to Sunday 28th April due to the festivals, and that the work in al-Karameh crossing will only be open part time.
