GAZA, (PIC)-- Hamas warned the Israeli occupation authority on Wednesday against Judaizing the Buraq plaza, south of the Aqsa mosque in occupied Jerusalem.
It said in a statement that any such plan would constitute a violation of the holy Aqsa mosque.
Hamas was commenting on a news report that settlement organizations, with Israeli official support, were planning to build two centers in the Buraq plaza.
The movement urged the Palestinian people to be on the alert for such plans and to confront them with all means possible.
Hamas asked the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and UNESCO to assume their roles in halting such racist practices.
The movement also denounced the Israeli attack on Palestinian local TV stations, describing the practice as “piracy”.
