Israel used warplanes (F16s, Apaches and drones), warships and tanks to bomb Gaza non-stop for three consequtive hours this evening (7 April), targeting most of Gaza. Israeli shells fell on residential areas, targeting houses belonging to the Qudaih, Al Manasra and Hellis families.
Israel also used full force to attack Rafah, Gaza’s International Airport, Khan Younis, the Zaytoon neighborhood, Deir Al Balah, Jabalya, Shujae’ya, Qarara and several other places.
According to Palestinian Health Ministry Official Adham Abu Salmeyah, 50 year old Mahmoud Al Manasra was killed while some 25 people have been injured to date. One Palestinian is reported to have reached the hospital already amputated after being directly hit by an Israeli shell, while two farmers were also injured when a shell fell on their farm.
Mohamed Al Madhoon, a journalist, was also injured during Israel’s mass shelling and his situation has been defined as critical.
Earlier in the day, Palestinian resistance fired a mortar that fell on a bus in Nahal Oz injuring a number of Israelis. The resistance continued responding to Israel’s vicious attack by firing several Grad rockets and mortars.
Israeli shells fell on residential homes, a hospital, farm lands, a factory, an ambulance and power generator in Khan Younis, causing power outages.
While Israel has been targeting Gaza for the past two days with night air raids, there were no reported injuries.
Israel’s shelling of Gaza continues while the Palestinian resistance is also trying to continue responding.
